Sometimes he climbs into his toy boxes to watch Baby Einstein. I think I'll get him a kiddie chair for his birthday.

Ahh... the sound of the mower...

This means I can take Arthur out to play by the apartment today! YAY! He's crazy bored inside lately. Which means I'm crazy crazy. The grass grows so high so fast that we'll spend a week or so waiting for it to be trimmed again, otherwise the bees and trash and bugs are too much to handle.

He's been climbing everything. I guess he's figured out the only way to expand his world in our little apartment is the "up" way. I've found him on the coffee table, diving over barricades to Jarrod's "office area," even in boxes. The boy needs a backyard!

Cousins Cousins Everywhere

My cousin Meri came to practice her babysitting on the Hilleke and Richey kiddos a few weeks ago.

Emily came over with the kids when it was my day for the babysitter.


I'm not sure Arthur knew what to think of little visitors in the apartment. We live so far west of everyone in our church that we never have company.

Did I ever mention that the ultimate coffee shop is only a few blocks from our apartment? Arthur and I stroll over there on cool afternoons. It's right by the interstate, so he watches traffic while I unwind.
